This 60W 24V IP20 single-colour digital LED strip is perfect for creating dynamic and advanced lighting effects that are impossible to create with classic LED strips.

This model of digital LED Strip has a circuit installed every 6 LEDs (1:6) that forms a group of LEDs. What does this mean? That you can manage and control the individual groups (PIXELS) independently. This will allow you to create beautiful and exciting plays of colour.

Like classic LED strips, this digital LED strip is also cuttable. In this case it is divisible every 50 mm, i.e. every 6 LEDs forming a group.

To manage and control this model of led strip you need a led controller suitable for digital led strips (not included).

A normal 24V power supply with a minimum power of 60W (absorption of the entire coil) will be sufficient to power it.

Several LED strips must be connected in parallel.

Aluminium profiles for dissipation are required for installation.

HOW TO INSTALL A 24V LED STRIP

To ensure maximum performance in terms of light output and lifetime, installation on a special aluminium profile, designed for proper heat dissipation, is mandatory.

Aluminium profiles not only dissipate heat, but also protect the LED strip from dust, insects and partially from moisture.

WHICH POWER SUPPLY UNIT TO BUY FOR THE LED STRIP:

LED strips must be powered with a constant voltage power supply unit, usually with a DC symbol. For 24V LED strips, a DC 24V power supply unit is required.

To calculate the necessary wattage of the power supply to buy for your led strip, simply do a simple mathematical multiplication:

" No. of metres of led strip x Watts per metre absorbed by the strip model = Necessary power of the power supply "

Attention: Always buy a power supply slightly more powerful than the result obtained, otherwise your power supply would always work at full load and you would risk burning it out.

"Ex: You have 3 metres of 20W per metre Led strip and you want to buy a power supply, the operation to do will be this: 20W x 3mt = 60W total absorption for 3 metres of Led strip. You will therefore need a power supply of at least 100W "
